Get to Know Me

A fourth-generation Californian, Melody Patton Arevalo grew up learning about real estate from personal experience. Her parents actually designed her childhood home. “My father was a civil engineer,” she says, “and my mom was an idea guru.” Melody’s grandfather was a contractor who built their home with help from relatives who worked in the trades. “It was a beautiful, state-of-the-art home with all the bells and whistles,” she recalls.
 
After graduating from the University of California, Irvine, Melody moved to Napa Valley and made it her home. Her studies of law and psychology lent depth to her real estate expertise, and her experience in the luxury hospitality industry refined her customer service skills. Now, with more than 20 years of experience as a real estate professional, she’s able to leverage her knowledge of Napa Valley to her clients’ advantage in a fast-moving market, whether they are upsizing, downsizing, or purchasing a second home.
 
Helping people find the perfect place to call home is Melody’s top priority. Her diverse clientele includes first-time as well as experienced buyers, move-up sellers, retirees selling their longtime homes and scaling down, new construction buyers, and those who are selling and leaving the area. She enjoys working with the many clients who have come back to her over the years when they decide it’s time to make a move. “Having the privilege to present the keys to a new homeowner never gets old, ” she says.
 
Committed to giving back, Melody volunteers for numerous charitable events throughout her community and served for one year on the Napa County Grand Jury. She’s also passionate about food and wine, enjoying all that Napa Valley has to offer, and is an avid cook. She says, “I’ll cook anywhere, anytime, for anyone!”
